The confession heard around the internet has given the family of Vincent Canzani peace.
After going viral with his confession of drinking and driving, which led to him crashing into and killing Canzani, 22-year-old Matthew Cordle will serve six and a half years in an Ohio state prison.
Cordle first made headlines last month, when he posted a confession about him drinking and driving after a night out with friends. Cordle proceeded to drive the wrong way down the highway, killing 61-year-old Vincent Canzani in his inebriated state.
According to NBC4, Cordle’s alcohol level was extremely high at the time of the accident — a level that Cordle knew would have him arrested.
