In recent news Drake has dropped a verse in Spanish on Romeo Santo’s new song “Odio,” translated in English, hate. Santos who was the lead singer in the group Aventura is now a solo artist. He is also known to be one of the kings of Bachata. In the song Santos and Drake both sing about hating a man that is now making their girl happy. Not only does Drake sing in Spanish but he also raps in English.

Santos new album Formula Volume 2 will be released on February 25th and will include appearances from Nicki Minaj, Carlos Santana, Marc Anthony, Tego Calderon and Kevin Hart. As we can recall, Drake sings in his song “The Motto,” (“Spanish girls love me like I’m Aventura”) and maybe the idea of collaborating in a song has been stuck with Santos ever since. In his last album Formula Volume 1 the song “Promise” which features Usher became an instant hit.

Drake made a bold move by singing in Spanish. However, this can possibly bring some changes to music in general.
